As the HSE Advisor for Austal Ships, you’ll be responsible for partnering with and providing guidance, advice and support to the LCH Project Team on HSE deliverables.

What’s Involved
- Supporting HSE Lead in key Management System and Principle Contractor/Project deliverables and conduct activities as tasked by the HSE Lead
- Ensuring conduct, behaviours and performance are upheld to Austal Values and Behavioural Standards
- Assure Austal Ships Operational and Management Team awareness of Austal Defence Australia (ADA) Project Health, Safety and Environmental deliverables and requirements
- Maintain Management Plans and other specific Project Management Documents â Risk Assessments, House Keeping Plans, Site Management Plans, Emergency response Plans/Procedures
- Delivering specific, accurate and timely information in accordance with reporting obligations set by Austal ships and ADA
- Implement HSE Management System deliverables to assure process consistency in reducing harm/risk and continual improvement, and assuring an output of credible application through ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
You’ll Need
- Diploma/Cert IV Work Health and Safety
- White Card
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Internal Auditor Competencies
- First Aid/Emergency Response Competencies
- Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
